Our club offers two fantastic greens, each with 6 rinks, and a spacious clubhouse with a terrace nestled in beautiful surroundings. Whether you're part of a large touring team or a local member, we provide a welcoming environment for all.

Getting to know lawn bowls

Lawn bowls is all about precision – the goal is simple: get your bowls as close as possible to the small white ball called the "jack."
Played on a green measuring 38.5m x 38.5m, the field is divided into sections called rinks. Players take turns rolling their bowls, and once everyone has played, the team with the bowls closest to the jack scores a point for each one that’s nearer than the opponent's closest bowl.

Lawn bowls is full of twists, turns, and plenty of surprises – it’s more like a thriller than a slow-paced sport! Tactics and strategy play a big role, along with sharp hand-eye coordination. And what’s more, it’s a sport where experience and age don’t always have the upper hand – newcomers and seasoned players are always up for a challenge!
